Lost identity…

I was thinking of her and she was thinking of someone else,

I was finding ways to make her happy and she was finding ways for him,

I was finding ways to surprise her and she was finding ways for him,

I was cherishing my memories with her and she was living new with him,

I wanted to hold her hand till death and she wanted the same with him,

Everything I could imagine doing with her, she was either thinking those with him or already living them with him,

I asked for her love, I pleaded for her love, even I begged for her love,

And that’s how I lost my identity,

To find her I lost myself.

It’s just ironic,

you make someone your world and they make their world with someone else and you are just left out nowhere.

Don’t let other people steal your identity! That’s the only thing that is 100% yours.

    1. True. But, it is hard when someone do not appreciate you as who you are. And if unfortunately you love them, you become ready to change yourself.

If someone doesn’t appreciate who you are they don’t deserve you in the first place

      2. Maybe you are right. I mean, you are right. But its not easy to leave someone. Especially when you are in love.

It is okay if you have lost yourself. You felt, you lived… Time to have a version of yourself and a story to tell.
