In the desert of dejection,
Lost and stranded,
I Search for a drop of being wanted,
But, in contrast I feel,
Only sand and thorny bushes of loneliness.
The wind of love,
Changing the lumes of sand,
Do not let me find the way out,
Only my horizon, her thoughts remain the same.
I walk in only one direction,
Trusting a star in night,
Not letting my feet to sink in her charisma again,
And harvesting my energy to pass this turmoil.
I see it, an oasis,
Far away in mounds of sand,
Just a few hundred steps more,
And I could find some peace,
Wash away my sorrow and rejuvenate my lost endeavor.
But, why does it keep on going away,
Like it doesn’t want me to be at peace,
The more I run for it, the farther it gets,
Oh dear lord, it’s a Mirage,
A momentary happiness as I found with her,
Following years of destitute.
In this Sea of her thoughts,
I seek renunciation,
Nirvana for my life,
To comprehend myself,
And to end my strife.
